The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is seeking applications for the position of Part-Time Court Staging Deputy, located at the Harrison County Courthouse, Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
- $20,000.00 per year
- Part-time, weekends
- Uniform and equipment provided
Job Description
- Conduct a thorough search of each inmate before he or she enters the transport vehicle.
- Transport inmates to the North Central Regional Jail.
- Complete all paperwork prior to and following transport.
- Assist with courthouse security as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Sheriff.
Qualification Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Valid West Virginia driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current West Virginia Correctional Officer Certification
- Ability to work weekends
- Must pass a background investigation
